Andrew Clay

Andrew (Andy) is a qualified Insolvency Practitioner with JIEB qualifications and a member of both The Insolvency Practitioners Association and Association of Business Recovery Professionals. Andy has over 25 years experience in all aspects of personal and corporate insolvency.

Having commenced his career with PKF Leeds office in 1986 he became highly skilled in all disciplines and qualified in 2000.

He left the firm in 2005 to become an appointment taker and following short spells with small firms, was appointed as an appointment taking director within the York office of Begbies Traynor.

Whilst being an appointment taking director Andy has dealt with over 300 cases including a number of high profile appointments such as The Judges Lodgings Hotel in York and Coggles Limited, a high fashion outlet in York.

Andy is very well placed to advise both Companies and Individuals on all aspects of corporate and personal recovery. Away from the office he is a keen golfer and cyclist, and enjoys spending time with his family.

Emma Clay

Emma commenced her career at PKF in the marketing department before joining Arthur Anderson as Marketing Executive and subsequently Deloitte. After the birth of their daughter she has worked part time for a firm of Accountants and more recently for a corporate finance and investment company.

Emma is well versed in all marketing tools and techniques and has assumed full responsible for the promotion of the business and the practice management.

Away from the office Emma is a keen Horse rider and enjoys long walks with the dog as well as spending time with the family.
